Cookies
There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to until you ask for it. Here is exactly what that means.

No tracking, no advertising, no analytics
UK Live Tickets sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no cross-site identifiers. Nobody is told which pages you looked at.
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, regulation 6, allow storage on your device without consent only where it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Everything the site stores by itself falls in that category: your basket, your confirmation, the artists you follow and your choice of light or dark. All of it stays on your device.
What is stored on your device
| Key | What it holds | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| uklivetickets.basket.v1 | The tickets in your basket. | Local storage, your device only | Until you clear it or complete the order |
| uklivetickets.extras.v1 | Any optional extra you ticked. | Local storage, your device only | Until you clear it or complete the order |
| uklivetickets.following.v1 | The artists you have followed. | Local storage, your device only | Until you clear your browser data |
| uklivetickets.order.* | Your confirmation, so the page survives a refresh. | Session storage, your device only | Until you close the tab |
| uklivetickets.players.v1 | That you pressed play on an embedded player once. | Session storage, your device only | Until you close the tab or ask to be asked again |
| theme | Whether you chose the light or the dark interface. | Local storage, your device only | Until you clear your browser data |
None of these is a cookie in the strict sense: nothing is attached to a request, so nothing is sent to any server.
Embeds load only when you press play
Spotify players and venue maps are shown as still panels with a button. Nothing is requested from Spotify or OpenStreetMap until you press one. An untouched page contacts no third party at all, which is why you are not asked to consent to one.
Press play, and that provider loads inside the page and can set its own storage under its own policy.
That first press is taken as your answer for the rest of the visit, so the next player opens without asking you again, as it comes into view. It is remembered in session storage on your device, it is never sent anywhere, it is forgotten when you close the tab, and you can take it back here at any time.
How to clear it
Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes everything in the table above, including your basket. Blocking storage entirely still lets you browse, but the basket cannot then hold anything between pages.
