Terms of sale

What you agree to when you buy a ticket, and what we owe you in return. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated 10 August 2026

1. Who you are buying from

UK Live Tickets is the ticket agent. We sell on behalf of the promoter or venue staging the event, and the performance itself is delivered by them.

To be supplied before trading: registered company name, registered office address, company number and VAT number.

You can reach us at hello@uklivetickets.com or on 07700 900123.

2. The price you see is the price you pay

Every price on this site includes the booking fee from the first place it is advertised, which is what the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 requires. The face value and the fee are shown separately underneath, so you can see what you are paying for.

The total will never go up between the event page and payment. It can go down, if a discount applies. Anything optional, such as posted tickets or ticket protection, sits outside that figure, is never pre-selected, and is added only if you tick it yourself.

Some venues charge a separate fee of their own on the door, for instance a facility or restoration levy. Where one applies it is stated on the event page before you reach the basket.

3. When your order is complete

Choosing tickets does not reserve them. Your order is complete, and a contract is formed, when we confirm it on screen and send your confirmation email. Until then the tickets can be sold to someone else.

Occasionally an order fails after payment, usually because the last tickets went while you were paying. If that happens we refund the full amount to the card used, including any fees.

4. Ticket limits and resale

Each event has a maximum number of tickets per order, shown next to each ticket type. The limit applies per person, per household and per payment card. Orders that break it may be cancelled, which is standard practice and exists to keep tickets away from bulk buyers.

Tickets are sold for personal use. Reselling above face value, or through an unauthorised channel, may make the ticket void at the door. If you can no longer attend, contact us before the event rather than selling privately.

5. Entry, age limits and behaviour

Age restrictions are set by the promoter and the venue, are listed on every event page, and are enforced at the door. Under-16s are usually required to be accompanied by an adult. Bring photographic ID if you may be asked for it: no refund is due if you are refused entry for being under age.

Venues may refuse entry, or remove you, for reasons including intoxication, prohibited items and behaviour that puts others at risk. Searches at the door are a condition of entry at most venues.

6. If the event changes

Support acts, running times and stage times can change without notice, and a change of support act is not grounds for a refund. If the headline act changes, the event is cancelled, rescheduled or materially altered, see refunds and cancellations, which forms part of these terms.

7. Your cancellation rights

The usual 14-day right to change your mind about something bought online does not apply to tickets for an event on a specific date. That exception is set out in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and it is why tickets are non-refundable simply because your plans changed.

It does not touch your other rights. If we cancel, or the event does not happen as sold, you are refunded under the refunds policy, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Accessible tickets

Accessible places are arranged with the venue's access team rather than through the basket, because platform spaces are allocated individually and a personal assistant ticket has to be attached to the booking. They cost the same as the equivalent standard ticket. See accessible booking.

9. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for the staging of the event itself, which is the promoter's and the venue's responsibility, nor for loss caused by you breaking the venue's conditions of entry.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Complaints and applicable law

Write to hello@uklivetickets.com and we will reply within five working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts of the UK nation where you live.
