The data controller is the operator of UK Live Tickets. Questions and requests go to hello@uklivetickets.com.

To be supplied before trading: registered company name and address, ICO registration number, and the data protection officer's contact details if one is appointed.

Kept in your own browser, never sent to us. Your basket, any optional extras you tick, the artists you follow and your light or dark preference are stored on your device. They stay there until you clear your browser data, and clearing it removes them.

Given by you at checkout. Your name, email address and telephone number, so the tickets can be sent and so the venue can reach you if the event changes. On this demonstration site they never leave your browser.

Given by you for on-sale alerts. Your email address, and only after you tick the consent box yourself.

Not collected. There is no analytics, no advertising network and no third-party tracking on this site. Payment card details would be handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers.

To sell you a ticket and get it to you: performance of the contract you entered into.

To tell you an event has moved or been cancelled: performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in you not travelling to a show that is not happening.

To send on-sale alerts: your consent, given by ticking the box, and withdrawable at any time from the link in every message. That is what PECR regulation 22 requires for marketing email.

To keep sales and tax records: our legal obligation.

The promoter and the venue receive what they need to run the event, typically the guest list for the performance you booked. Accessible bookings are arranged directly with the venue's access team, so what you tell them is held by them.

A third party you choose to load, by pressing play on a Spotify player or a venue map, receives your request directly. Until you press one, nothing is sent. That press then stands for the rest of the visit, and you can take it back on the cookies page.

We do not sell personal data, and we never will.

Order records are kept for six years after the event, which is the period tax and accounting rules require. Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, and then only a record that you did, so we do not add you again by mistake. Anything held only in your browser lasts exactly as long as you leave it there.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict what we do with it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. We answer within one month and there is no charge.

If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first.

The site is not aimed at children. Where an event admits under-16s they are expected to attend with an adult, and the booking is made by that adult.
